We run Kanab Constructions Llp out of a small place in Shera Mohallagarhi. It is right near East of Kailash, which is a part of town we know really well. The office is on the first floor, the front side of house number A 43. It’s a regular residential street, so it doesn’t feel like a cold office building at all. We like it that way because it’s closer to the neighborhoods where we actually do our work. There’s usually a few of us here talking about supply orders or looking at drawings for a new house project. It gets a bit noisy sometimes when the neighbors are around or when we have a lot of deliveries arriving. We don’t have any big signs or anything. We mostly get our work through people we know or folks who have seen our projects nearby. It’s a simple operation where we try to keep things honest and clear with everyone we deal with. Every day is a bit different. One day we might be worrying about the weather affecting a site, and the next we’re just catching up on bills. It’s not always glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have built a decent routine. If you’re looking for the office, just ask around the mohalla, people usually know where A 43 is. It’s just a practical space for a small construction team.
