Joseph Pookkatt

You can find us over in Defence Colony at D 77. It’s one of those parts of South Delhi that has its own rhythm. The streets are lined with trees, and it’s generally much quieter than the rest of the city. Our place is a straightforward setup in one of the residential blocks. We’ve been at this address for some time now. Joseph Pookkatt is the name we use for all our official things. The office isn't anything elaborate. It’s basically just a couple of rooms where we keep our files and do our work. I like the fact that we can step outside and be in a park in just a few minutes. It helps when you’ve been staring at a screen for too long. We don't have any big corporate branding or fancy logos on the walls. It’s more of a personal space where we get things done. The neighbors are mostly quiet, though you hear the occasional car or the sound of someone's gate opening. We keep regular hours, starting in the morning and wrapping up by evening. Sometimes we stay late if there is a lot to finish, but we try not to make a habit of it. It’s a comfortable place to work. There’s a small area for making tea, and we usually have some biscuits around. It’s just a normal, low-key operation here in Def Col. The vegetable seller comes by with his cart in the afternoons. His voice carries right through the walls. It feels like home.
