Our office is up on the 1112th floor of DLF Tower-B in Jasola. It’s one of those big glass buildings where you spend a lot of time waiting for the elevator. We deal with ingredients here, mostly the stuff that goes into food or other products people use every day. It’s a bit of a contrast, being in a high-rise building while talking about bulk sacks of raw materials. The view from the window is mostly of the city traffic and other office blocks. We have a few desks, some computers that are a bit slow, and a lot of samples sitting around on shelves. People come and go all day. Most of the time we are on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out why a shipment is late. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to manage the supply chain. We don’t really have a big corporate culture or anything. We just drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the paperwork. The Jasola district center is always crowded, so lunch is usually just something quick from the downstairs stalls. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and the security guards know us by name. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind the commute. We just keep our heads down and handle the ingredient orders as they come in. Nothing more, nothing less.
