Intercraft Engineering P Ltd is located in South Ex I in New Delhi at J 32 on the second floor. South Extension is a place most people go for shopping or eating out but we are tucked away in one of the commercial buildings. Being on the second floor means we are away from the direct noise of the main road but you can still hear the horns honking. The space is filled with drawing boards and some computer stations for engineering work. We have been here for a while and the office reflects that with stacks of old blueprints and binders full of project specs. It is a small team and we all know each other well. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but nobody really cares as long as the work gets done. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick lunch but usually we just bring something from home. The Delhi heat can be tough but the old split units we have in the office keep things manageable enough. We spend our hours looking at designs and making sure the measurements are right for the parts we are working on. It is quiet work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes clients drop by to look at the progress of a job and we just sit around the main table and talk it through. It is a straightforward engineering shop in a busy part of the capital.
