Harish Malik Company

My name is Harish and I run Harish Malik Company out of L 21, Old Double Storey in Lajpat Nagar IV. If you’ve ever been to Lajpat Nagar, you know how crowded and lively it can get. Our place is in one of those older buildings, the double storey ones. It’s got a bit of history to it. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. We’re a small team working in a space that’s seen better days, but it’s home to us. I started this company because I wanted to do things my own way. We don't have a polished corporate image. Our desks are a bit cluttered and we drink too much tea, but the work gets done. New Delhi is a tough city to run a business in, but being in Lajpat Nagar makes it a bit easier because everything you need is right there. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. We just focus on the people who come into the shop. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer and the air conditioner struggles, but we keep at it. We’ve been here for years and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. But at L 21, things stay pretty much the same. We just want to do a decent day's work and go home to our families at night. It’s a simple life and we are okay with that.
