Fresh Food Concepts on the Ring Road in Defence Colony. We’re at E-5. If you know the Ring Road, you know how loud it gets with the trucks and cars zooming by all day. Our building is right there, so we hear the honking all the time. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but not by much. We are usually busy with the food stuff, checking the bottles and making sure the fridge units are running right. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters. There are crates stacked in the corners and the smell of fresh juice or vegetables often hangs in the air. We have a small area for the staff to sit and have their tea. Most of us have been working here for a while, so we know the routine. The office is a bit cramped because we have so much equipment. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all have to wait around, but usually, we are just heads down working. We don't have any big posters or fancy mission statements on the walls. It’s just a practical place to run a food business. We handle the deliveries and the orders as they come in. It gets pretty hectic in the mornings when the vans are being loaded up. Once they leave, we can finally sit down and catch up on the paperwork. It is just a normal day for us.
