So, we work out of Shahpur Jat in New Delhi. It’s house number 87-A. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know it is a bit of a maze with all the narrow lanes and the fashion boutiques tucked away everywhere. We are quite close to Asiad Village, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. The office for Emaar Mgf Land Ltd here isn't one of those shiny new buildings. It is an older structure, kind of fits in with the rest of the neighborhood. We sit here at our desks and deal with whatever comes up during the day. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a delivery van or someone moving fabric, but that is just how it is in Shahpur Jat. We have a few computers, a lot of folders, and a printer that occasionally acts up. It is a very practical setup. No fancy lobbies or receptionists in uniforms. Just a door and a place to sit. Most of the time it is just the sound of keyboards and people talking on their phones. We keep the kettle going for coffee. It’s a busy spot but we manage to stay on top of the work. Living and working around here means you get used to the hustle. We are just a local team doing our bit in this corner of Delhi. The stairs are a bit steep, so we don't move around too much unless we have to.
