I started this small office at House Number 97 in Mehrauli. It gets pretty loud around Ward Number 2 because of the traffic and people moving about. We handle a lot of the usual stuff like paperwork for land and houses around Gautam Nagar. Most days it is just us sitting around the table looking at maps and checking legal papers. The fan in the corner makes a bit of noise but we don't mind. We've been in this part of Delhi for a while now. Some folks come in just to ask about prices in the area or to see what’s being built down the road. It’s a lot of back and forth with buyers and sellers. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything, just a regular place where we work. My desk is usually covered in folders and blueprints that need sorting. When it rains, the street outside gets a bit muddy, but that’s just how it is here. We keep a stack of plastic chairs for whenever a family comes in to talk about a new project. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we end up doing things the old-fashioned way with pens and notebooks. It’s practical work. We are just here doing what needs to be done for the folks looking to build or buy something in this neighborhood. We know the local streets and the people living here quite well after all this time.
