APPIAN BUILDWELL LLP

Back at 208 in Okhla Industrial Estate, things stay pretty busy for APPIAN BUILDWELL LLP. It is Phase-III, so there is always a lot of movement outside. You see a lot of people in blue shirts or carrying heavy bags around here. Our office is just one of many in this big industrial block. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise of the machines in the unit next door. It’s New Delhi, so the dust is just a part of life and it gets on everything. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the hunger hits at four o’clock. Most of the time we are just staring at spreadsheets or talking to people on the phone about supplies. It isn't a glamorous setup but it works for us. We know the tea stall guy by name and he knows how we like our chai. We have some old folders that have been sitting on the top shelf for years collecting dust. The windows look out over the road which is always jammed with cars and bikes. We just come in, do the work, and head home like everyone else in South Delhi. It is a long day usually but we are used to the rhythm of the estate by now. We just keep things moving at our own pace in 110020.
