Amit Enterprise

Amit Enterprise is found in Mehrauli, right near the Mehrauli Tb Hospital in South Delhi. Being in this part of Delhi means there’s a lot of history all around us, but our daily life is much more about the here and now. The streets can be quite crowded, especially with the hospital traffic nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. Our shop is a practical place. We have shelves filled with what we need and a counter where we talk to anyone who stops by. It’s not a fancy showroom. Everything is there for a reason and we don't waste space on decorations. We’ve been part of the South Delhi scene for years. Our day starts with a bit of cleaning and then we get straight to the orders or whatever tasks are waiting. We don't use big words or try to sound like a corporate giant. We are just a local business trying to do things right. Sometimes the weather is a bit much, either too hot or too dusty, but we keep the doors open and keep going. Most of our regular visitors are people from the neighborhood who know they can just drop in. We like the personal connection of a small business. It feels more real than being some nameless face in a skyscraper. It’s been a long journey from when we first opened, but we’re still here doing the same thing. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit.
