Acme Engineers

Acme Engineers is one of the many units located in the DDA Sheds in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II. Our specific spot is A-110. These sheds have been here for a long time, and they provide a good space for people like us who just want to get on with engineering work. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and the traffic in Phase-II can be quite a struggle during peak hours. Inside our shed, it’s all about the machines and the projects we have on hand. It’s not a place for suits and ties. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit dirty. The walls are lined with tools and some of the older projects we’ve finished over the years. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in these DDA sheds, but we’ve managed to stay put and keep our machines running. There’s a tea stall just a short walk away where we usually go to clear our heads for a few minutes. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people find us because they’ve heard about us from someone else or they just happen to be working in the same industrial area. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment where we focus on the task at hand. We like the grit of Okhla and the fact that we are right in the middle of all the making and fixing that goes on here. There is always a lot to do, and we just take it one day at a time.
