ACC Bar & Restaurant

We are located in Building No. 6, Shop No. 2, within the Mohanpura Municipal Market. This is on Mohanpura Road in Port Blair, 744101. We are very close to the bus terminus, so we get a lot of people passing by our door all the time. Running ACC Bar & Restaurant in a place like Port Blair is interesting. The weather can be quite unpredictable, but the market is always a hub of activity. We have been in this specific shop for a while. It is not a huge place, but it is ours. We spend a lot of time just keeping the bar stocked and the restaurant area clean. The municipal market is a loud and busy place to be. We are used to the sound of buses and people shouting in the market. It is a very local atmosphere. We don’t have any fancy marketing or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and stay late into the evening. Our team is small, mostly just a few people who have lived here for a long time. We know the other shop owners in Building No. 6 quite well. It is a lot of physical labor, moving bottles and crates and making sure the kitchen is running. We are just a regular part of the Mohanpura scene, doing our job every day near the bus station. It gets pretty humid here but the sea breeze helps sometimes.
