Tizzy Heighs

Tizzy Heighs is up on the second floor of the Dizzi Building. We’re part of the Hotel Islands Cove on VIP Road Junction in Port Blair. It’s right across from the AKT showroom, so it’s easy to find if you’re on MG Road. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a different view than the shops on the ground. We started this place to give people a spot to relax in Port Blair. It’s not overly decorated, just some simple stuff to make it feel okay. We get a lot of locals and some tourists who are staying nearby. The weather here can be humid, so we try to keep the place feeling fresh. We aren't a high-end place with white tablecloths. It’s more of a casual spot where you can grab a meal without spending too much. The staff is local and we all just help out where needed. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common here, but we manage. We focus on the food and keeping the tables cleared. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t have a big mission statement. We just wanted to run a restaurant in this part of town. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, but once you're up here, it’s a nice enough space to sit for a while. We hope to keep serving people here for years to come. It’s a good spot.
