Bay Island Restaurant

Up here on Marine Hill in Port Blair, we run the restaurant inside the Fortune Resort Bay Island. It is a pretty quiet part of town compared to the docks, but you still get that island feeling every day. We have been operating here for a while, serving the people who stay at the resort and also locals who want to come up the hill for a meal. The weather can be a bit unpredictable out here in the Andaman Islands, so we are always adjusting things depending on the rain or the heat. The view of the water is something we see all the time, but I guess it never really gets old for the guests who come in. We try to keep the atmosphere steady and calm. It is not about being the loudest place in town; it's more about having a reliable spot to sit down and eat. The staff knows the building inside and out. We are right there at 744101, which most people around here can find easily enough if they are looking for Marine Hill. Sometimes we get busy when the boats come in, but usually, it's just a steady flow of hungry people. We don't go in for anything too complicated in our daily routine. It is just a kitchen and a dining area where we do our work. We like being part of the local community and seeing the same faces.
