Gem Continental

Gem Continental is located on Link Road in Goalghar, right here in the Andamans. Our mailing address is P.O. Box No. 100, which has been the same for years. Being in Port Blair, we get all sorts of people coming through our doors. Some are here for work and others are just visiting the islands. The building is simple and we try to keep things running smoothly despite the occasional challenges of being on an island. Sometimes it’s hard to get certain supplies on time, but we make do with what we have. We have rooms for people to stay in and a place where they can get a meal. It isn't a luxury resort, just a practical place to stay when you are in town. The staff here is local and we all know the area pretty well. We spend our days checking people in, making sure the rooms are ready, and keeping the kitchen going. It’s a bit quiet sometimes when the tourist season slows down, but there’s always something to fix or clean. The weather can be a bit unpredictable with the rain, so we are always keeping an eye on the roof and the windows. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe ourselves. We are just a hotel on the Link Road trying to provide a decent place for travelers. It’s been our way of life for quite a long time now. We just do our best.
