Indian Council For Cultural Relations

We're based over in Aurobinda Park, right in the Purba Putiary area of Kolkata. Most people know where the park is, and our office at B/19 is just a regular spot where we handle things for the Indian Council For Cultural Relations. It’s a busy place some days, but quiet on others. We’ve been here for a while now. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it's a calm environment to work in. We deal with various cultural matters and paperwork that comes through the door. Usually, someone is around during normal hours to sort through the files or talk to visitors. The building itself isn't anything fancy, just a functional space. People often stop by to ask about programs or international exchanges we are managing. We try to keep things organized, even when the paperwork starts piling up on the desks. It gets pretty warm in this part of Kolkata during the summer, but we manage with what we have. Most of the staff live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad for us. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done and keeping things moving along. If you’re looking for the office, just follow the signs toward the park and you’ll find us easily enough. We don't have a big sign out front, but everyone in the local area knows the building. It’s just how things are run here, simple and straightforward without much fuss or bother at all.
