As A Technical Recuiter

We are over at 177 Sai Apartment on H.L. Sarkar Road, right in the Bansdroni Park area of Tollygunge. It is a residential neighborhood, so it is mostly quiet except for the usual sounds of a Kolkata suburb. I work as a technical recruiter from this spot, which means I spend most of my day looking at resumes and talking to engineers and IT folks. The apartment is simple, with one room set up specifically for work. I have got my computer, a very messy notebook, and a phone that never seems to stop ringing. Tollygunge is a great place to be because of the film studios and the general vibe, though I am a bit further out in Bansdroni. Sometimes the internet acts up or the rain makes it hard to hear anything over the tin roof nearby, but it is my space and I like it. I do not have a staff or a big board of directors. It is just me trying to match the right person with the right job. I write my notes by hand and keep a calendar on the wall instead of using fancy software for everything. It feels more personal that way. People call me because they need a job or they need a coder, and I just do my best to help them out without any big sales pitch or professional acting.
