Our place, Careercoms, is located at 16, Sardarpara in Brahmapur, right opposite the Brahmapur Water Tank in Kolkata. That water tank is a big landmark, so it’s hard to miss us if you’re in the neighborhood. We are a small group of people working on recruitment and career stuff. The office is basically just a room with some desks and a lot of paper. Kolkata is a city that never really stops, and Brahmapur has its own unique rhythm. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. We aren't some high-end agency in a skyscraper. We’re just a local business in 700096. Most of our day is spent talking to people who are looking for a change in their lives or companies that need a new face in their office. It’s simple work, really, but it takes time to do it right. We don't have a fancy website with stock photos. We just have our names and this address. Sometimes the rain in Kolkata makes it hard to get to the office on time, but we’re usually here. We like being near the water tank because everyone knows where that is. It feels like a real part of the community. We just do our best to help people find their way in the job market, one person at a time, without any big fuss or corporate talk. It works for us just fine.
