We are located at Flat 306 in Gayatri Vihar, which is part of Garia Gardens in the Garia area of Kolkata. Our zip code is 700084. It is a residential building, so we are tucked away up on the third floor. Working out of an apartment like this makes the atmosphere feel pretty casual for everyone. We do digital work, which mostly means we are glued to our laptop screens for the majority of the day. The flat is a decent size, with enough room for our small team to sit and work without bumping into each other too much. Garia is a bit of a trek from the main city center, but it is a very lively neighborhood with everything you need just around the corner. Sometimes you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood coming through the windows—kids playing outside or people talking in the hallway. We do not have a receptionist or a big lobby area; you just come up to 306 and knock on the door. We have got our servers and some messy cables running along the floor in the corner, and the small kitchen area is mostly used for making endless rounds of coffee or tea. The name Digital Domain sounds quite big, but we are really just a few people handling web and data stuff from this flat. It is a quiet life for the most part. We are not interested in being a huge corporate entity or having a fancy office.
