Yogesh Salon

We are tucked away in Navi Peth in Solapur, which is one of the older parts of the city. The streets around here are quite narrow and always filled with people shopping for clothes or groceries. Yogesh Salon is just a small room with a couple of chairs and some basic equipment for our daily work. It’s been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a lot of stories if they wanted to. The mirrors have a few cracks around the edges, but you can still see yourself well enough for a haircut. Solapur is a dusty place, so we are constantly wiping down the counters and the chairs. We don't have a big team or anything, just enough hands to keep the wait times from getting too long for our customers. Most of the people who come here are locals who have lived in Navi Peth for decades. They don't come here for anything special, just a regular cut so they look decent for work or a family function. In the afternoons when it’s quiet, we sometimes sit out front on a small stool just to watch the people go by in the street. It’s a busy life in this part of town, but inside the shop, we try to take things one customer at a time. We don't use any fancy products, just the usual soaps and creams that everyone knows. It’s a simple setup for a simple neighborhood.
