You can find us at Shop No. 11 inside the Bantnal Shopping Centre. We are right on the Jule Solapur Road, which is a busy stretch of tarmac in the Jule area of Solapur. If you are looking for us, we are right across from Hotel Lokpriya, which is a landmark most people know. Chandrakant Hair Cutting Saloon is a small place, but we make the most of the space we have. The shopping center gets a fair amount of foot traffic, so we often have people popping in while they are doing their other errands. We have some black leather chairs that have a few cracks in them, but they are still comfortable enough for a twenty-minute sit. The floor is made of grey stone and it’s seen a lot of hair fall over the years. We usually have the newspaper spread out on the small table for anyone who has to wait. My hands are always busy with the clippers or the comb, and the sound of the metal blades is the main thing you hear inside. We don't have air conditioning, just the breeze that comes through the open shop front and a wall fan. It’s a very practical shop where the focus is just on the work. We keep our tools in a small drawer under the main mirror. People appreciate that we don't talk too much if they just want to sit in silence and get their hair done.
