Yaana The Veg Treat

Yaana The Veg Treat is located on Hotgi Road in Solapur. We are right opposite the Dainik Sakal office building. It’s a good spot because a lot of people pass by on their way to work or the market. We open up early to start cleaning the floors and setting up the kitchen for the day. The space has a few rows of tables and some chairs. We’ve had the same furniture for a long time, but it’s still in good enough shape for what we need. Solapur can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping down the surfaces. We are a small team, mostly people from the nearby colonies who walk to work. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of standing. The kitchen is where most of us spend our time. It’s not a fancy setup, just the basic stuff we need to get things done. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble, but we usually fix it ourselves. We see a lot of regular customers who live in the area. It’s nice to have a chat with them when it’s not too busy. We don’t have a big corporate strategy or anything. We just show up every day and do what needs to be done. It’s a practical, local business and that’s how we like to run things here on Hotgi Road. We just keep the kitchen going and the tables clean for everyone.
