Gauri Restaurant

Our restaurant is on Kurdwadi Road in Barshi, which is part of the Solapur district. We are situated near the Shivshakti Maidan, so we see a lot of people when there are sports or events happening there. The restaurant is just a simple room with some tables and chairs. I opened it a few years back because I wanted to work for myself. We serve local food that is common in this part of Maharashtra. I am usually there at the entrance or helping out in the kitchen if one of the boys is sick. The 413401 area is not as busy as the big cities, but Kurdwadi Road still gets a fair amount of traffic. We have a small menu painted on a board near the door. The floor is easy to clean and the fans keep the air moving on hot days. It is a very basic setup. We do not spend money on advertising or fancy things. People just know we are here. Most of our customers are workers from nearby or people traveling through Barshi. We start early in the morning to get the tea and breakfast ready. The kitchen is small but we keep it organized. If you are looking for a place that is quiet and serves regular food, we are a good choice. We don't have a website or anything, just the sign out front near the maidan.
