Down here at 157 Railway Lines in Solapur, things are usually pretty steady. We’re right near the Sahyadri Shopping Center, so we get a lot of people who are tired after walking around the stores all day. Being so close to the railway lines means you can hear the trains passing by quite often, which is just part of the atmosphere here. Our place is a mix of a restaurant and a bar, so it’s usually a bit louder in the evenings. We’ve got some old wooden tables and the lighting is kept a bit low to make it comfortable. It’s not a shiny new lounge; it’s more of a place where you can just be yourself. Our staff knows how to handle a crowd, even when it gets a bit rowdy during a cricket match on the television. We focus on getting the drinks out fast and making sure the snacks are crunchy. The floor is old stone, and the walls have some framed pictures that have been there forever. We don't use any fancy tech for orders, just pens and paper like always. It’s a neighborhood spot where people come to talk about their day and have a cold drink. It’s worked for us for years, so we don't see any reason to change how we do things. We just keep the bottles cold and the kitchen open for whoever stops by.
