Hingmire Restaurant

We are located at 113, Solapur Market, right in the middle of Jodbhavi Peth. Hingmire Restaurant is a small place, but it stays busy because of where we are. In the mornings, the market is full of people selling vegetables and clothes, and that’s when we start our day. We mostly serve the workers and the shopkeepers who spend their whole day in the market. It’s not a place for a fancy dinner date, just a spot to grab a plate of food and sit for twenty minutes. The tables are close together and the noise from the street comes right inside. We’ve been in Solapur for quite some time now, so we know most of our customers by their names or what they usually order. The floor is concrete and the walls have a few old calendars on them. We don't have a big team, just a few of us doing the cooking and cleaning. It gets very hot during the summer months in Solapur, but we have some fans that keep the air moving. We buy our ingredients right here in the market every morning so everything is fresh. It’s a simple life, running a restaurant in a place like this. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the local market crowd has a place to eat that feels like home. It’s loud, it’s crowded, and it’s exactly how a market restaurant should be.
