Ambassader Restaurant

Our place is inside the Ambassader Hotel on Stand Road in Solapur. It’s been at 95/1 for a good long time. Usually, the day starts when the hotel guests wake up and want something to eat. You can hear the noise from Stand Road coming in through the front. We keep the tables set and wait for people to sit down. It’s mostly just a regular spot where people eat while they are staying at the hotel or just passing through Solapur. The kitchen staff stays busy with the stove and cleaning up the dishes. There isn't much to say about the decor, it’s just chairs and tables that have seen a lot of use. We check the fridge every morning to see what we need. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud but they keep the air moving when it gets hot outside. People come in, they eat, and they leave. We don’t do anything too complicated here. It’s just about getting the food out on time and making sure the floor stays clean enough. The street outside is always busy with cars and bikes. We stay open pretty late because the hotel stays open. It’s a lot of work but we are used to it by now. The kitchen gets pretty warm in the afternoons. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day in this part of Solapur. If the rice is a little late, we just tell the customers to wait a bit.
