Spice And Ice Restaurant

Our place is tucked into Shop No B 55 over at Shete Complex. Being right here in Solapur means we see a lot of people heading through Duffrin Chowk every single day. It’s a pretty standard building, nothing too flashy about the outside or the inside really. We spend a lot of our time just managing the daily chores that come with running a restaurant. The complex can get a bit crowded during peak hours when everyone is out and about. We usually arrive early to get the kitchen going before the sun gets too high. The air in the complex stays a bit cooler than the street, which is nice in the summer. We’ve got our regular routine down now. You might have to look around a bit to find B 55 if you aren't familiar with the layout, but we’ve been here long enough that most locals know the spot. The furniture is just what we could get, functional and simple. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that. We just stay open and do our work. Sometimes the neighbors from other shops come by to chat. It feels like a small community inside the complex. When the lunch rush happens, things get a bit hectic, but we manage. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here in Solapur. We keep the doors open and wait for whoever comes in. It is just a plain, honest spot for anyone passing by the Chowk.
