Sips N Bites Restaurant

We are located at 12 Civil Lines, inside the Bachuwar Bungalow in Solapur. It is a bit of a unique spot because it’s part of an older property. We are quite close to Vikas Nagar, which is a good reference point if you are coming from that direction. The pin code is 413001. Civil Lines is usually a bit more spread out and quieter than the middle of the city. Being in a bungalow gives the restaurant a different feel than if we were in a modern shopping mall. There is a bit of a yard outside and the building has some character to it. Inside, we’ve set up the tables to fit the layout of the rooms. It’s not a wide-open space, which some people seem to like. We have to do a lot of maintenance because the building is older, but we don't mind the extra work. The kitchen is tucked away in the back where we spend most of our time. We see a lot of people from the local offices and families who live in the Civil Lines area. Solapur can get quite warm, so the thick walls of the bungalow actually help keep the temperature down a little bit. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves; we are just a local restaurant trying to stay busy and keep the place running well. It’s a steady job for us and we enjoy the daily routine of being here.
