Shri Sai Mens Hair Parlour

The shop is basically one room with some chairs lined up. We have the usual tools, some clippers, scissors, and different sized combs. It’s mostly men who come here, just like the name says. They want a quick hair cut or a clean shave and then they go about their day. We keep the shop open through the heat of the day. Solapur gets very dry and dusty, so we are always wiping the mirrors. You can’t have dirty mirrors in a hair parlor. There’s a small bench where people sit and wait their turn. We have some old magazines lying around, though nobody really reads them much anymore. They usually just talk to each other or look at their phones. We’ve been in Salunkhe Chembar for a while now. It’s a familiar place for the locals. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place to get your hair trimmed by someone who knows how to do it. The atmosphere is just casual and relaxed. No one is in a huge rush.
