About Shravan Savaji Biryani House – Tourism in Solapur
If you’re looking for us, we are tucked away behind the Honda showroom near the Old Employment Chowk. It’s a bit of a specific spot in the Railway Lines area of Solapur. I started this biryani house because I like the Savaji style of cooking, which is what we do here every day. It’s not a big, polished place with air conditioning and fancy lights. We have some benches and tables where people sit down and eat their meal. The kitchen gets really hot, especially in the afternoon when the biryani is steaming. Most of our customers are folks working nearby or people passing through the chowk. We spend a lot of time grinding the spices because that’s the main thing for Savaji food. It’s a lot of manual work, and my hands usually smell like cloves and cardamom by the end of the shift. The Railway Lines area is always busy with bikes and people moving around, so it never really gets quiet until late at night. We don’t spend money on ads or posters. Most people just find us because they smell the food or someone told them about the spot behind the showroom. It’s just me and a few others trying to run a decent place. We cook, we serve, and we clean up. That’s pretty much the whole story. It’s just a regular biryani house for regular people who want a hot meal without any extra drama.
