Shawar Siddha Hair Cutting Saloon

Being right near the bus stop on the Main Road in Solapur means we see a lot of people. Some are just passing through the city and need a quick trim before they hop on another bus. Others have been coming to Shawar Siddha Hair Cutting Saloon for years. The sound of the buses pulling in and out is something I have gotten used to. It is a very busy spot and there is always something happening outside the door. The dust from the road comes in sometimes so I am always cleaning the glass. I keep my combs and scissors ready because you never know when a group will walk in. The shop is a bit old-fashioned but people seem to like that. We have some pictures on the wall that have faded over time. I usually start work early in the morning before the sun gets too high. Solapur can be a tough place to work in the summer but we keep the fans going. I don't use any fancy products or have a big menu of services. People come here because they know what to expect. It is just a straightforward hair cutting saloon. I like the energy of the bus stop area. It makes the day go by faster when there is so much movement. We just do our work and let the world go by.
