Ranjai Restaurant

You can find Ranjai Restaurant on the second floor of the Golden Heights building. We are located on Vijapur Road, which is a pretty major part of Solapur. The ITI Police Station is just nearby, so we often see officers and people heading to the station passing by our entrance. Being on the second floor means you have to walk up the stairs to get to us, but it gives a decent view of the road below. Solapur gets very hot in the summer, so being a floor up helps catch a bit of a breeze if we keep the windows open. The building itself has other shops and small offices, so there is a lot of coming and going all day long. We start our prep work while the rest of the city is still waking up. The kitchen gets hot very fast, so we try to get the heavy cooking finished early in the day. Our tables are simple wood, and we don't have any big posters or fancy signs hanging up. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they work inside Golden Heights. We don't spend any money on ads. We just focus on keeping the place running for the people who come in. Sometimes the staff talks about their families while we wait for the lunch rush to start. It is a very normal, everyday kind of place for us.
