Poonam Lodge

Poonam Lodge is over at 221 / 222 Gold Fintch Peth, right by Subash Chowk. It’s a basic place for travelers who need a spot to sleep for a night or two. We've been here in this part of town for a good while now. The rooms are simple and we try to keep things tidy. It’s not a big hotel with lots of extra stuff, just a lodge where people come when they’re passing through or in town for work. We see a lot of different people coming in and out of Subash Chowk. The building itself has its quirks, like any older place does. We spend our mornings checking people out and getting the rooms ready for whoever arrives next. My family helps run things, so there's usually someone around if a guest needs something. It gets a bit noisy outside because of the location, but that's just part of being in this area. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a desk and the rooms upstairs. People usually find us because we're close to the main spots in town. We focus on keeping the beds clean and the water running. It’s honest work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. If you're looking for something fancy, this isn't it, but it works for folks who just need a decent place to stay without any fuss.
