Mr. Idli Xpress

We spend a lot of time here in Solapur Market, specifically at Shop No. 7201/3/3b in the Dheeraj Complex. It is right on Civil Lines in the Gandhi Nagar area. The street gets really busy during the middle of the day, and sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit. We have been here for a bit now, just making idlis and other things for people who pass by or work in the shops nearby. The weather in Solapur can get quite hot, so we try to keep things moving fast. It is not a very big space, but it works for what we do. We start early in the morning when it is still a bit quiet to get things ready before the market really starts waking up. People from the offices around Civil Lines stop in when they have a break. Sometimes the delivery guys are rushing in and out which makes it feel a bit chaotic, but that is just how it is here. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop with a kitchen. The sign outside is simple enough for people to find us if they are looking. We just focus on getting the food out to whoever is hungry at the time. Most of the regulars know us by name now. It feels okay being part of this neighborhood. We just keep doing what we do every day. Every morning we check the batter and make sure things are ready.
