Lemon Tree Restaurant

Our place is at 75/B in Santosh Nagar. We are over in the Jule area of Solapur, right across from the Devika Gas Godown. If you know where the godown is, you can't miss us. It’s a pretty simple neighborhood. 413004 is where we’ve set up shop. The restaurant isn't anything too big. We just have some tables and a kitchen where we spend most of our day. It gets quite warm in Solapur, so we have fans going all the time. We start the morning by getting the vegetables from the market. Then it's just a lot of chopping and cooking until we open the doors. We don't have a big fancy menu, just the things we know how to cook well. Most of the people who come in are living right here in Jule or working nearby. It's a local crowd. We don't do much in the way of decorations. The walls are plain, and the furniture is just basic wooden stuff. We focus more on making sure the kitchen is clean and the food is hot. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during dinner time, and we have to move fast. It's just a few of us working here, so we all do a bit of everything. One day I'm at the counter, the next I'm helping in the back. That's how it is. It's a lot of work but it's what we do. We usually wrap things up late and then get ready for the next morning.
