We set up Hotel Preeti Pure Veg Restaurant right here on the Solapur Pune Highway, specifically at National Highway No-65. Being in Mohol near the Chikhali Bus Stop means we see a lot of people coming through every single day. It is a busy stretch of road and the dust sometimes gets everywhere, but we try to keep the place clean for anyone stopping for a meal. The kitchen starts early because trucks pull in at odd hours. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a plain dining hall with chairs and tables that have seen a lot of use over the years. My family helps out with the cooking and the service most of the time. We focus on vegetarian food because that’s what we know how to do best. On hot afternoons, the fans are always spinning and it gets quite loud with the traffic noise outside. People usually stop here when they are tired of driving and just want a quick plate of food before heading back out toward Pune or Solapur. The Chikhali Bus Stop is just a short walk away, so we get locals waiting for their transport too. It is a simple life here in Mohol. We deal with the electricity going out sometimes and the water supply, just like everyone else in the area. We aren't trying to be a five-star place, just a spot on the highway where the food is hot and the seats are available.
