We've been here in Solan for quite a while now. The office is over at Sh. Anil Gupta’s place in the village, right in the middle of things here in Himachal Pradesh. Most days it’s just us handling the cement orders and making sure the bags get to where they need to go on time. The roads up here can be a bit tricky with the weather, but we manage somehow. It’s a busy spot, especially when the building season starts. We don’t have any fancy setup, just a desk, some chairs, and the paperwork we need to keep track of everything. People from around the 171102 area know where to find us if they need a load of cement for a house or a wall. It gets a bit cold in the winters, so we usually have some tea going while we work. The address is linked to the Gupta family home in V.P.O Solan, and that’s exactly where you’ll see our sign. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand. There isn’t much to tell other than we work hard and try to get the counts right. It’s a local operation even if the name on the door is a big one. You see the trucks coming and going all day long. We know the neighbors and they know us, which makes the workday go by a lot faster than you'd think. It's just a regular life here in the hills.
