This office is located in the VIP Guest House in Suli Darlaghat, specifically in room number 102. Being up here in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh is quite a different experience than working in the big cities. The air is much cooler, especially when winter comes around. We are right in the heart of the Darlaghat area, which is very busy with the cement industry. The guest house has people coming and going all the time, so there is always some activity. Our room is where we manage all the local administrative tasks and the paperwork for the area. It is not a huge corporate space, just a practical room inside the guest house building. We spend most of our time talking to truck drivers and keeping track of the cement logs. It is a lot of hands-on work. The view from the window is quite nice with the hills, but we are usually focused on the computer screens. It is a simple life here in the Arki tehsil. We don't have any high-tech gadgets, just the basic tools we need to finish our work. It feels much more like a community spot than a stiff office environment. We just get on with our jobs and make sure everything is handled for the day. It is a very down-to-earth way to run a business.
