Ambuja Cement

Up here in Himachal Pradesh, we are located at F 61 in the Ambuja Township. It is part of Village Suli, which is near the Darlaghat post office. Being in the Solan district means we have some pretty nice views of the hills when the weather is clear. The air is different up here than it is down in the plains. This Ambuja Cement site is where a lot of us spend our days. The township itself is a quiet community. We all kind of know each other since we live and work so close together. It’s a simple life. The walk to the office at F 61 doesn't take long. Sometimes it gets quite cold, especially in the winter months, so we keep the sweaters handy. We don't have any big flashy signs or corporate lobbies. It is just a functional workspace in the middle of the village area. We handle the local logistics and keep track of things coming through Darlaghat. It can be a bit isolated compared to the big cities, but we like the pace here. People around Suli are hardworking. We just follow the routine and make sure the work gets handled. The hills have a way of making everything feel a bit more grounded. It is a steady place to work, and we are glad to be part of the Solan landscape. We keep the tea warm and the work moving.
