Sindhukrushi Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based in Patilwadi, which is part of the Kankavali area in Sindhudurg. Our address is 1115 Patilwadi. This is a women's farmer company. In this part of Maharashtra, we have a lot of small farms and many of them are run by women while the men might be away working. We decided to put our resources together to make things a bit easier for everyone in Sindhuudurgnandgaon and the surrounding spots. It’s a humble operation. We meet at the house in Patilwadi to figure out the season’s plans. Sindhudurg is beautiful but the terrain can be tricky for farming. We deal with what we have. Sometimes it's fruit, sometimes it's grains. Our group is about making sure we get a fair shake. We aren't some big city firm. We are just local women who know how to work the soil. The address 1115 is where we keep our records and have our meetings. It's usually noisy with everyone talking at once, but that's how we get things done. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We grow things, we try to sell them, and we look after our community. It’s been a good way to stay connected and help each other when the work gets too much for one person alone. It’s about being part of something that belongs to us and helps our village grow stronger every year.
