Jay Gurudev Agrovan Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based in Bhamdevikaranja Lad. It's a small place. Our group is called Jay Gurudev Agrovan. We focus on trees and crops together. Most of us here have small plots of land. We were tired of the middlemen taking all the profit. So we started this producer company. It’s just a way to organize. We meet at the post office or someone’s house. We talk about which trees grow fast and what the soil needs. It’s a lot of work. The weather is unpredictable. Last year we had a dry spell that hit us hard. We share what we have. If someone has extra seeds, they give them to a neighbor. We are trying to build something that lasts. It’s not flashy. We don't have suits or big cars. Just our tractors and our hands. We want to make sure the next generation has something better. It’s a struggle every day but we are doing it together. That’s the main thing. Bhamdevikaranja Lad is a place where everyone knows everyone. Our producer company is just an extension of that. We focus on agroforestry because the trees help the soil and give us extra income later. It's a long-term thing. You have to be patient. You can't rush a tree. We are the same with our business. We are taking it slow because we don't want to make big mistakes that we can't fix later. We just do our best.
