Kapila Agro Foods Private Limited

Kapila Agro Foods is down in Walaval-Humarmala, which is part of the Kudal taluka in the Sindhudurg district. Our main spot is House Number 18. If you’ve been to Sindhudurg, you know it’s a place with a lot of trees and good soil. We focus on agro foods, which basically means we take what grows on the trees and in the ground and get it ready for people to eat. It’s a small operation. We don't have a giant factory or anything. Most of the work is done by hand or with simple machines. We are at Ap H No 18, and it’s usually pretty busy with crates and bags being moved around. Working in Kudal is nice because the weather is usually decent, but the humidity can be a bit much sometimes. We aren't interested in being the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the food we produce is good and that we can keep our heads above water. A lot of our families have lived in Walaval for generations. We know the land and we know what grows best here. Sometimes things go wrong, like a late monsoon or a truck getting stuck on the narrow roads, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a simple life, and we are happy to keep it that way.
