We are over here at Yesgaon, operating out of House Number 18 where Shri Rangnath Namdeo Khandagale lives. It isn't a big fancy office or anything like that, just a place where we sit down and talk about the crops and what needs doing next. Most of us around here have been farming since we were kids, so starting Raje Sambhaji Farmer Producer Company Limited felt like the natural thing to do. The weather in this part of the world can be tough, one day it’s too dry and the next the rain won't stop, but that’s just how it is. We spend a lot of our time out in the fields or leaning against the tractors, figuring out how to get the harvest moved without losing money. It’s hard work, and sometimes our hands are stained with soil when we come in to handle the paperwork. People in Yesgaon know where to find us. We don’t have much in the way of big machines, but we have our neighbors. Sometimes the lights stay on late at Rangnath’s place while we go over the ledger or plan for the coming sowing season. It isn't always smooth, and we make mistakes with the forms now and then, but we are just trying to keep things moving for the local families. There is no big secret to what we do, just regular folks trying to make the land work for us.
