We started Durgasindhu Producer Company Limited because we needed something for our own people here in Kudal. Our place is at H. No.450 in Hirlok, which isn't a fancy office or anything, just where we handle the daily work. Most of us here grew up in Sindhudurg and know the ground pretty well. It gets busy with the seasons, and sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we just keep moving. It’s mostly about coordinating what everyone is growing and trying to find a way to move things along. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It’s just a few of us sitting around a desk making phone calls and checking on the crops. Sometimes the weather doesn’t help, and other days things go smooth. Being in a small place like Hirlok means everyone knows where to find us if they have a question or need to drop something off. We focus on the practical side of things, like seeds and what’s happening in the fields today. It isn't always easy, and we make mistakes, but we are right here on the ground. People stop by when they’re passing through Sindhudurg just to chat about the harvest or what the market looks like this week. It’s just how we do things here, keeping it local and honest without too much fuss. We really just want to make sure the work gets done.
