Get Go Shimla (Unit Of Exploring Horizons)

Get Go Shimla is situated at 401 P. C. Chambers, which is right near Jodha Niwas. Being in Shimla means we are always dealing with steep roads and changing weather. Our office in P. C. Chambers is a place where we sit down and figure out how to help people explore these mountains. We are a small unit under Exploring Horizons, but we mostly just think of ourselves as Get Go Shimla. It is a local operation through and through. We don't have a big team of sales people in suits. It is just a few of us who know the trails and the hidden spots around town. Most of our day is spent on the phone or answering emails from people planning their holidays. We see the fog roll in past our windows almost every afternoon. Sometimes the heater doesn't work as well as it should, and we have to wear our heavy coats inside. We don't bother with glossy advertisements. Most people find us because they want a local perspective on Shimla, not a generic tour. We talk to people plainly about what they can expect when they visit. It is not always sunshine and perfect views; sometimes it is just rain and mud, and we tell them that. We have been at this near Jodha Niwas for some time now, just doing our thing one day at a time. No fancy missions, just helping people see the hills we call home.
