Nonstop Himalayas

We spend most of our time out here in Rampur, specifically over in the Kungal Balti area. It is a quiet spot in Shimla district where the air is clear. We’ve been running things from Roop Singh’s place for a while now. Most days are busy dealing with the roads and making sure the vehicles are ready for the mountain climbs. Living in the Himalayas is not always easy because of the weather, but it’s what we know. We handle things as they come. Sometimes the phone signal is bad because of the height, but we get the work done eventually. It’s a lot of driving and talking to people who want to see the sights. We don't have a fancy office with big glass windows. It's just us working out of the village. People usually find us by asking around for Roop Singh’s house. We know these roads like the back of our hands. The hills can be tricky if you aren't used to them, especially when it rains or snows in the winter. We just keep moving. It is a lot of back and forth between Shimla and the smaller towns. We’ve seen many seasons change here. If you are looking for us, just head towards Balti. We're usually around fixing something or planning the next trip up the mountain. It’s just how life is here in the hills, slow but steady.
