Maximum Journeys

We are located up in Manali, right near the Mall Road and not very far from the police station. If you have ever been to Manali, you know how busy the Mall Road can get with all the shops and people walking around. Our spot is convenient because everyone knows where the police station is, so we never have to give long directions. Maximum Journeys is a small office where we spend our days talking about mountain roads, weather, and hotels. We have maps pinned to the walls and a lot of brochures that are a bit dog-eared from people flipping through them. The air is cold here for most of the year, so we usually have a small heater going under the desk to keep our feet warm. Tourists come in with all sorts of questions. Some are about big trips and some are just asking where the best tea shop is. We try to help them out however we can. It gets a bit chaotic during the peak season when the town is completely full of visitors. We do not have fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear our heavy jackets and boots like everyone else in town. Sometimes we are out on the road ourselves, checking on drivers or looking at new spots. Manali is a beautiful place to work, even if the traffic near the Mall Road makes us a bit crazy sometimes. It is just us here.
