Awesome Yatra

Awesome Yatra is tucked away in Village Kag-Kuftu, which is out near P.O. Darbhog. It's a quiet place, not like the big cities where everything is moving too fast. We started this because we live here and we know these hills better than anyone else. Most days we are just answering questions about how to get to the next village or which path is better for a walk. It’s a small operation. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who like being outdoors and helping others see the beauty of our area. The office is really just a room where we keep our files and take calls. Sometimes the signal isn't great, but we manage. We’ve had people come from all over, and they always comment on how calm it is here in Kag-Kuftu. We don't use big words or make huge promises. We just tell you what we know. If the weather looks bad for a trek, we’ll tell you to wait. It’s better to be safe. We spend a lot of time chatting with the locals to see which roads are clear. That’s how we get our info. Working at Awesome Yatra isn't a desk job in the usual sense. We are often out and about ourselves. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. We just want people to enjoy the trip without any unnecessary stress. It’s basic, but it’s what we do every day for those who visit.
