Kutbi Trade Centre

You can find us on Mahankali Street, right inside the Shakuntallamma Complex. It’s a very crowded area with narrow lanes and lots of people moving goods back and forth all day long. Our trade center is basically a hub where we manage various stocks and talk to retailers who need supplies for their own shops. The space is filled with boxes stacked almost to the ceiling, and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to even sit down. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and clipboards with order lists. The street outside is always noisy with carts and delivery vans, so we’ve gotten used to shouting a bit just to be heard over the racket. We handle a lot of paperwork, checking invoices and making sure the counts are right when the new shipments come in. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with different suppliers. We don't really do much advertising; people just know we are here in the complex. The lights in the shop are those bright fluorescent tubes that flicker a little, and the floor is worn down from years of heavy crates being dragged across it. We open up early and stay until the last of the daily business is wrapped up. It’s a busy, cramped, and somewhat chaotic way to work, but it keeps us moving and the days go by fast here.
