Our office is over in the Venkatapuram area of Secunderabad, specifically at H. No. 19-120/5. It’s a nice, quiet spot compared to the more hectic parts of the city. We’ve been operating out of here for a good number of years now. Chalapathi Estates is basically a small team of us who deal with local property and land stuff. We don't have a big shiny office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a ground-floor space with some old-fashioned furniture and a lot of filing cabinets. The walls have a few maps and some calendars from years ago that we never bothered to take down. We spend most of our time talking to people who come by with questions about their land or looking for a place to stay. It’s a lot of paperwork and sometimes it can get a bit tedious, but we’re used to it. We drink a lot of tea and chat about what’s happening in the neighborhood. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere here. No one is rushing around in a suit. We just take things as they come and try to be helpful to the folks who walk through our door. It’s a decent, simple way to work in Secunderabad.
